PM expels Anthony Albanese from Labor after he calls for recognition of Palestinian statehood

How many more murders will it take for the mainstream media's cowardly fever to break?
Just two weeks ago, the Committee to Protect Journalists called for Anas Al-Sharif’s protection.
He was subject to repeated Israeli smears that were believed to be the precursor to his assassination.
The IDF have admitted they targeted him tonight. Because they know there will be no repercussions.

Anas Al-Sharif was one of the most remarkable reporters of his generation. For 673 days, he defied Israeli threats to kill him.
Al Jazeera now confirm their crew in Gaza City have all been assassinated:

BREAKING: One of the most important and prominent reporters on the ground in Gaza has been Anas Al Sharif.
He - and several other Al Jazeera journalists - have just been assassinated by Israelis forces whilst in their press tent in central Gaza.
Speechless.

They couldn’t silence their stories.
So they just killed them.
Israel never comes back from this.

The Australian government has always made it clear that we believe all innocent life matters, just not to the same degree obviously. Every Israeli and maybe one in every ten thousand or so Palestinians. Children are starving. After two years of aid and food being blocked to Gaza, we say that’s probably a bit too far and would like Israel to consider letting some through. Any talk of Israel adding new war crimes to their plans should be stopped. And not in the way that we said we ‘stopped’ arms trade with Israel but still let companies do it, we mean actually stopping the action. We want an immediate ceasefire involving the release of the hostages. If *passive voice* keeps refusing to sign one, we will be forced to introduce new sanctions on those who criticise Israel. Like the censure we handed down earlier this week. We say enough is enough and we hope those protesters outside our offices and inside the senate surrender soon. A two sate solution which involves recognising a Palestinian state has long had bipartisan support in Australia, except for when we voted against recognising a Palestinian state then kicked a woman out of our party for wanting to recognise Palestine... Then had the dirt unit publicly attack her. Australia is committed to a future where Israelis and Palestinians can live safely and freely. And until that day, we will do everything in our power to achieve that, besides taking any action at all. We hope that with statements like these we can see positive outcomes, in the form of headlines praising how it is stronger than our other statements. And one day be able to bring peace to the staffers who look after the complaints lines.
EXCLUSIVE: Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has released a revised version of his statement from earlier today.

Can we call it genocide without objection yet?
Can we get the same response to this as we did to Russia, because this is the same thing?
Will Western countries now say “Palestine has a right to defend itself”?
Probably not.
The ethnic cleansing with impunity will probably still continue.
