My virus turned sinus infection and my desperation to get my ear pressure to release was so high it made me write poetry. It’s so bad I feel like publishing it is more like wearing an ugly Christmas sweater than anything, but several friends liked it so here you go.

Enough time has passed that I can definitively say that the “everyone is 12 now” post is THE load bearing post of Bluesky. The hall of famer Bluesky post. It commands respect even from Bluesky skeptics and haters

Whoa! I grew up in that building. Basketball games, circuses, Harlem Globetrotters, concerts, you name it. So love that it’s stood the test of time. It’s a glorious building.

While you’re not wrong, it’s important to remember this investigation has likely been several years in the making.

As someone who works to train city police across NC in the art of driving, I really wish we would move to more stringent no-chase policies. No amount of catching this guy would have been worth him killing an innocent bystander, and these officers lack proper training to stop him quickly.

I’m reminded of the Gilda Radner sketch where she railed against people protesting against violins.
