Imagine seeing that in your coffee mug.

A wish gone wrong and now you can't get any coffee in your mug.

My mind goes weird places.

It can require a bit of tissues.

They usually come out raw, but without as much editing needed.

My first words are often my best in these scenes.

If someone can turn lines and traffic into something scary, my money is on Jordan Peele.

What if you worshiped a vengeful God and it was more like, "Write or I will smite thee."

Would that cure us all of writer's block forever?

Book 2 is still AI and Taiwan, but it's less sci-fi now, because of how long I've taken. That book is now a NOW book and I'm still improving the previous one. Can't build a series on sand. First book has to pop.

My 2nd edition cut 17% original content and added 9% aliens, and 3rd cuts deeper.

Craftsmanship, that's me. What I've really written is cross genre or as one reader called it a super genre bender. I started a sci-fi series with a "political thriller", which was more realistic. Then each book was a massive escalation.

The updated version will intro aliens book 1 instead of book 3

At some point past the 4th wall you get meta enough to have a metaverse. 😂

My books are far from boring. More original and creative than most.

My book won an award and was finalist in some competitions. I'm tinkering with it still because I was trying to break ground that wasn't meant to be broken.

I'm making changes to make it more consistent as a series.

I start with notes, which saves me from the blank page issue.

Perfectionism is my main problem.

Figure out theme later, sure. Is that what's meant by heart?

Start with the pitch is one of my favorite writing tips.

The creature had a lot more depth than most of the creature features during that time period. So it was more modern, which is part of why I think it holds up so well.

I remember seeing it in 3D.

Uncaptured snow is still a pretty strong mental image.

That's an excellent way to lay it out. I've made a text list of things to do when I get depressed, but this is a great way to express it.
