Maybe it's only for me, but I have to make some effort to re-adjust myself to Japan (my country of origin) every time I go back there. I feel I have to behave like a local because I look local.

I don't have to do this when I come back to Europe.

It means "sorry but thank you" or "sorry but please". I personally find it weird, but it is commonly used, so I use it too.

A plot of four empirical distributibutions where I am testing whether the blue line is not on the left of the other lines.

A plot of four empirical distributibutions where I am testing whether the blue line is not on the left of the other lines.

Hello #EconSky, I need help! I have the following empirical CDFs and want to test: the blue line is not on the left of the other lines (H0).

The figure seems to be consistent with H0. But someone asked me whether it was due to the small sample size. How could I argue it is not the case?

"Women spend so much more energy being nice to people in the workplace! When will they ever get credit for that?!โ€ This audience question is common in our public talks about research on gender equality in the labor market. Our new paper gives striking evidence on this point. 1/7
