Over 100 years ago, Luella Blanche Trask explored Catalina Island, pressing plants, writing notes and capturing a wild landscape. The exact spot where she found it remains unknown. All we know is that it grew in the shade of chamise, with white petals marked by wine-colored veins. #biodiversity
