Pain is pain, and it's disruptive and exhausting. I hope it eases up for both of us 🫂

(PS the kiddos bio-grandma is in their 40s and I always feel really shocked when I remember that! Their family is so young!)

Some of it IS trigeminal pain but not the classic attacks. Some of it is in a new place. And when it's going to storm my system seems to go haywire and it's like a light switch turns on and I get occipital stabs etc. My neuro does injections for that in a few weeks. But it is MUCH better most days

Yes, snack kids are great! They start school in a week and typically their mom drives them over to pick up their treats once a week. I feel like a grandma or auntie for real now

I've had fewer headaches as it's gotten a bit cooler and summer storms have ended for now. The headaches are wierd.

I've got the ex-lawn-guy relying on me for ramen, now I also got him some little tuna and crackers. It's not a big deal, feeding somebody on a dollar a day. It's sad but I guess I'm doing the work to help people

There were some sneaky people taking snacks today and I was thinking I had some new snack kids. It's not new, it's the snack kids lol. I guess we didn't hear them with all the loud plumber sounds.

It could be that you're sensitive to the tannins in wine or histamines. I'm not exactly allergic but I one day became very sensitive to things like red wine, they even trigger neuro issues now and it's one of those two. LC has quite a histamine thing

The plumber fixed one shower and now the shower on the other side of the wall has no water pressure at all. The other shower has water pressure but not a lot. This sucks

You deserve rest, productive is overrated sometimes. Don't set yourself back

Thank the DC budget and no overtime for the trash folks for the extra rate rates. They just don't pick up if we have a holiday, they just wait until next week

We have to eat lunch outdoors and now we're definitely not doing it out back

Our neighbors have open trash that attracts rats. They also have a cat that's been in our yard lately. Perhaps that's how a rat wedged its head into the fence and...accidentally hung itself.

We can't remove it with no running water, this is so awful and gross. We must wait until the shower works

He gave us a project quote so I think he's just being slow. For all I know he has a disability of his own, so I don't want to get annoyed lol

Plumber was not waiting on anybody. He may have simply been eating lunch lol. Whatever. I need to learn to be more chill I guess but it's hard when I find other people coming into the house and being COVID-conscious so stressful

I don't like the stress, I want it seccond-nature

The only reason we didn't find somebody else is because this process, fixing the stuff in the bathroom, is SO slow. They get here slow, they repair slow, they communicate slow.

We haven't even signed a contract yet they are SO slow lol

I sometimes feel like I'm in sitcom but don't know the jokes or anything lol. This same plumber the other day told me they "don't tell him the schedule, they just tell him where to go" and I'm like, what kind of business is that? I don't get it.

I don't really get what is happening, feeling a bit clueless. This plumber has his own world he lives in. He told me he had to go back to the van to get parts, now he's been there for almost 25 minutes. He didn't SAY he is waiting on somebody else, but he HAS to be because this is quite silly.

They are jackhammering our street AGAIN so the crow probably won't be here today. It could be the same crow as a year or two ago. They live many years

My PT went out of town for some reason and never got back to me about our appointment. I don't even know if I want to do it this week.

Today, we have workers coming to do plumbing work. It's such a pain but it's necessary

The snack kids came today to get loaded up with snacks, too, lol. But the crow thing I was not expecting. Could it be the same bird as years ago? If so, it's a really smart one. But this one is smart, too. just omg lol

So we have a crow stealing chips from us, it looked right at me through the window, it slices them open with its beak and they end up in the street

I had a crow do this like 2 years ago! I can't believe it's happening again. Hilarious

I put some alternative food out to deter him. LOL we'll see

My insurance company isn't updating that I've reached my maximum and should not have copays. I wonder how long it will take. I only have 3 months to get a bunch of medical things done

They are going to tear into the wall to fix our shower and now we have to have somebody come caulk the old shower. We won't have access. Things are getting expensive

It was all really, really bad but we would die in this heat lol. It just really did get out of control lol. The treebox is the little stripe of green between the sidewalk and the street and you're supposed to keep it neat. Ours was probably 18 inches. SO bad lol

I just told our across the street neighbor "thank you for chopping down our treebox" and told him we let it all get out of control because I had brain surgery. He walked across the street with his wine in his hand because that was -interesting- to him. I forget he's a scientist. We never talk though

I learned today my hands are both what the medical people consider weak, lol. They're not sure it's just carpal tunnel, so now I start the tests.

I have a friend (I don't have a lot, though, lol) who I think is going to get the best phone possible and totally immerse herself in Animal Crossing, and I'm too cheap to do it yet, but I really think I may try to join her there one day.

Just to hang out with her in a virtial way. Why not?

I feel so weird about that term, "occupational therapy", because I do indeed feel like it's my occupation at risk but I kind of barely care at this point. Messed up? I dunno. My brain is not being gentle with my emotions 3 months post-surgery.
