Hi fellow art lovers and friends! Happy March. Here is a finger painted acrylic on canvas painting from June of 2021 titled “Wellen der Freude” (Ripples Of Joy”). The weather starting to warm up getting ready for Spring has me feeling joyful!

This is my largest painting, 4 feet by 4 feet acrylic on canvas; “Sky, Sea and Sand”. Painted in 2019.

Here is my most recent painting. The last only instructions were for an abstract that included the color vermilion. So I used viridian green, royal purple and sapphire blue to complement the vermilion & added tangerine orange as a lighter accent color; “Fanciful Fantasy” an 18”x24” acrylic on canvas

Not sure my previous post for today worked. So here it is again. This is an abstract painting from January of 2010, an experiment combining tempura, heavy bodied acrylic and fluid metallic acrylic. “ENIGMA”, 14”x11” on canvas. I had it floater framed in dark brown wood. Thoughts?

This is “Don’t Rain On My Parade 4”. A perfect rainy day in the early summer of 2021, painted by request. 18”x24” acrylic on canvas and then floater framed. I love how you can see some the actual raindrop craters in the paint. Thanks for enjoy my art.

Salutations friends! Here is the third in my rain painting series, “Don’t Rain On My Parade 3”. Another fun rainy day, except that it was only a light drizzle and I had to help by spraying it with a water bottle. Even though I used the same colors as “DROMP 1”, the effect was completely different.

Happy First Day of February. I thought we could brighten up the winter with a colorful painting. This “Don’t Rain On My Parade 2”, painted in May of 2021. Another fun day of getting splattered with paint in the rain, but worth it! 12”x24” acrylic on canvas board.

Happy Chinese Lunar New Year! Welcome year of the Snake. In honor of the Chinese New Year, here is a red painting, “Rote Rose”, 11”x14”textured acrylic on canvas. Painted in November of 2024 (year of the Dragon). Red for passion, love, joy and courage. And a rose for beauty.

I loved the process of creating movement and blending of the colors even if my raincoat did get completely paint splattered!
