I think people get like a bad lot in life etc and they just think that's the "natural" way things are for them and so they stop trying. I don't want that for anybody, even if you do fail it's so important to keep trying. I hate seeing people who try lose, but I'm always in their corner to keep goin

I love that for you! I was talking to a friend about people who make "Failure" their brand and just wallow in that and it's not bad alone, but taking pride in it is strange! Being a coping mechanism is one thing, but the eventual wake-up call is something I genuinely want for people.

I think failure on it's own is fine, it is not a negative thing. In fact we grow from our mistakes all the time. However, I think taking pride in being a failure is strange. It's not good, cute or funny to be proud of having your life in disarray, especially as you get older.

Just based on how your attitude about the internet and the way people use and manipulate people instead of building genuine relationships and just having a good time leaves a bad taste in your mouth. You're one of the few people left imo that has a shred of sanity and it's comforting personally.

When you advocate for violence, division and death, you don't get to act surprised when that rebounds and you wind up dead.

When you spend your life spewing hateful rhetoric, no one you harmed with your ideologies has to shed tears of any kind when you die.

I can't bring myself to be sad about someone who spewed hateful and divisive rhetoric about my people or my loved ones. It's sad in that it's reached this point and I think it's only going to get worse before it shows any signs of improving.

I didnt give one FUCK about those guys, their history or why they'd been with the company nor their inspirations, I needed a fuckin JOB. I only learned this bc the place I donate plasma, the supervisor I'm cool with told me that, bc she called and asked if they were hiring me--

So I learned that one interview I did really well at over a month ago with no rejection email, DIDNT hire me because I "talk to much" even though they really liked me and I did well in the interview.

If I didnt eventually land a job, I would've crashed out, that wouldve been the last straw.

nah, my friend @chocaboo.bsky.social and i can hang out for long periods of time while im just watching her play a game with minimal talking. I think hanging out all the time is much easier even if you have nothing to say with people who are comfortable like that around one another.
