A Day in Axum’s IDP Centers — Humanity in Crisis A couple of days ago, I walked through the IDP centers in Axum, and immediately, the reality of the suffering of the IDPs was evident.

IDP. A horrible acronym for persons who were forced out of their homes - through genocidal actions in the case of those seeking shelter in Axum. A statistic in the eyes of Europe, and one that remains neglectable as long as they don't try to reach Europe.
