I walked into the shops today (1 Nov ffs) and the cringy Christmas songs had already started. Pity the poor retail staff with nearly two whole months of it to go.

The lady with viola to the right of Jacob could’ve just sat and watched as many of her colleagues were doing, which of course would’ve been totally fine, but she instead chose to engage and do so wholeheartedly. Her joy is infectious and catches me up in the wonder of the piece, every single time.
