Kazu and Mura are in the kitchen, Mura reading the paper and Kazu doing the dishes. Suddenly the power cuts out. Kazu mentions that she didn't hear a storm so asks if something happened. Mura uses his Island Surveillance ability to see that there is in fact a storm on the way, and it knocked down a main powerline. But if they stay inside they should be fine. He does note to keep an ear out for Nate's fear of thunder and lightning during the storm, as both kids walk into the kitchen from behind.

The kids are throwing food out of the pantry as they look for snacks. They're cut off by their dad who inquires what they're doing. They reply that they're getting snacks for the show they want to watch.

The parents look at each other, and Kazu states that the power is out (obviously). The twins already have this as a non-issue, saying that Nate's electrokinetic abilities will solve that issue. Kazu and Mura look at the two, with Kazu seeming to not be totally on board at first, but gives in to say "it's fine". If it distracts Nate during the storm, it'll probably be a good way to avoid the headache.

had a few ideas in mind while drawing her...i just wanted to draw a "flat" girl and that was it, but once i drew the glasses and the hair i just couldn't stop thinking about dexters lab and Craig McCracken style and decided to fool around with her. As always no name yet, with the big round hair and little curls on the sides it made me thing of an octopus.....so maybe something related to that if you would ask her to draw her self she would 100% draw herself in the adventure time art style

a few exaggerated expressions, I LOVE HAVING FUN!! this is where i also came up with the idea of her glases working like eyes and making them bend and change shapes depending of the mood, kinda inspired by james lee. So yeah most of the time the glasses are normal and when it comes to showing emotion it gets cartoony

full bod with her jacket and a little mood change apparently drawing glasses as just squares can be a dead giveaway that you read homestuck and that's what the text is refering to lol, sorry homestuckers but i doubt i will ever read it and it wasn't really in mind while drawing
