And, in order to move into an apartment in NYC you have to prove that you earn something like 40% of your rent each year. So even a “cheap” apartment requires you to have quite a lot of money. Cuomo must not know how renting works in the city he wants to run.

And, the real gift of a rent stabilized apartment is not how cheap it is (not all are) but it’s that the landlords can’t double your rent and force you out. The rent goes up each year by pre-determined percentages. That gives renters some security around their home. Everyone should have that.

I love HEB. Great grocery store. And now I love them even more.

ICE agents are pathetic cowards. So sorry that happened to that lady. How can they live with themselves? Shame on them.

I enjoyed this book. And it reminded me that these kind of regimes can look strong for awhile but be rotting from the inside. Then they collapse (after doing untold damage unfortunately)

For those helping me with feedback (and I welcome it from all), I went in and cleaned it up and organized it. We have a lot of companies to add. Cowards and traitors should not get any of our money.
