A quote card with an image of JRF chief executive Paul Kissack saying "2 in 5 working-age families receiving disability benefits already experience hardship β cutting benefits will only serve to deepen this. It is no answer to the nationβs health or employment prospects and an unethical and short-sighted approach."
Slashing benefits to meet an arbitrary fiscal target would be unethical, short sighted and illogical. β

Ross had been a Councillor since 2007.

Groups of visitors walk along the path, surrounded by the remnants of brick structures and barracks, now reduced to foundations. Green grass contrasts with the somber history of the site, as the path leads toward a guard tower in the distance.
Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.
