Hey, stream service morons! If you make the ads ear-splittingly loud, I’m gonna have to reach for my remote, and if I do that, I’m muting ‘em. If you keep ‘em at the same level as the program, then at least I’d hear ‘em. #duh

Remote worker here, often visiting coffee shops to work. Starbucks has great WiFi, my top need. I'm fine buying a coffee, but since they’re $6+, I won’t get more than 1. Today, after a while, the drink was gone & I got thirsty.
I thought, “I should leave Starbucks now, because I want a coffee.”

But if it hands you lemons, sugar, water, and some form of refrigeration cold enough to make ice, then I say you should make lemonade.

And much like we don’t “dial” phones anymore, we still use old terminology.
And if you’re old like I am, you may even have driven a car that not only used “keys,” but required two different ones: one to open the door, another for the ignition.

Keyless Fob Non-Chain
“I’m looking for my keys, " I said. "I lost my keys.”
And by “keys,” I meant this thing pictured here: my key on my keychain, which has no chain and not a single key. At least not one that follows the traditional definition.
“I lost my keys” sounds less weird than “I lost my fobs.”
