A cotton tee so old the tag faded, dyed in our Natural Black dye service.

I will be honest, y'all get weird when we launch yellows. The least purchased dyelots are always our yellows. This green/yellow has been a favorite since we launched it a year ago, and relaunched during our bi-annual full color relaunch.

Deep Space is back for our May Dyelots!

First dyed with indigo, then mordanted and over dyed with madder root for a deep purple blue. We were inspired by french workwear when picking this color, first launched in October of 2024.

April FAQ pt 3 // I have a cashmere sweater. Is this something you can dye without damaging? Would this be colorfast, resistant to fading?

Yes, we dye cashmere! We always dye cashmere and wool garments by hand, rather than in our dye machines. This reduces the agitation that garments experience dur

April FAQ // Can I send you something that is cotton poplin, hand dry only?

Yes! Note that cotton that has been washed may shrink slightly when dyed. That said, we are happy to hang dry delicate garments. When you check out, be sure to note in the ‘garment description’ pop-up window.

It's best practice to chat with your flowers before harvest.

This is your Monday reminder that the way to extend the life of your garments is to take good care of them. Don't worry - it's not that hard! Simply use gentle detergents (dish soap works great 😉 ), avoid acids (wash out with cold water - not hot! if there's a spill 🫗 ), and store out of direct sun.

It's Monday (again). This week we're revving up the dye kettles to start processing all the beauitful garments that arrived in our studio for the Winter Dye Lots. Stay tuned this week as we rerelease some of our most popular colors for the March dye lots.

Sometimes the most simple moments are the most beautiful - like plant dyed garments hanging in the studio, illuminated by the sun coming through on a cloudy winter day.

We like to think of our dyehouse as a garment spa. As a garment you will go through several mineral baths of various temperatures - hot baths, cold baths, warm baths, hot baths again, and so on. Take this as an invitation to take a nice long bath this weekend. Happy Saturday ~<3
