Very much enjoying the fact that Martin Odegaard is trying to find the run of Viktor Gyokeres almost every time he makes it. Could be a seriously dangerous combination this season. Zubimendi different class. Madueke a great alternative option on the wing. A nice evening in the sun so far!

Definitely. Feels like we’re leaving it very late to be fully prepared for OT. Surprised we didn’t see closer to the starting XI for United today. Slightly concerning with nothing about this pre-season particularly convincing so far. Fingers crossed pre-season really doesn’t matter…

What is more important - signing a player for the left wing (whether that’s an Eze or a Gordon) or evolving tactically to provide better technical support and build-up on that side of the pitch?

Even if we sign someone, would they be exposed the same way Martinelli and Trossard are to an extent?

Think that's a really poor half from us. Very sloppy and both ends of the pitch summed up by their goal. It's a needless ball from Raya and something that has crept into his game.

That's an incredible point considering the circumstances: a true game of two halves. We played with so much more conviction and personality in the second half, that was just absent in the first. A credit to the team's character because we needed something today after a rough few weeks.
