riichi city doing something a little unorthodox. they are doing a "suffer against the mortal AI challenge" for giftcards, but the interesting thing is they are inviting strong players from EVERY MAHJONG APP.

For this problem you'd think a riichi slam would be grand. However if we count the remaining tiles on our 3p 6p wait..
There is one 3p and one 6p remaining, making this a pretty awful wait for 2 (3 with ippeikou) han.
Looking at Mortal 4 AI, it says cut 5m and dama
Or cut the non-aka 5p.

How to clock the honitsu if you didn't: The 789p call being first line nearly confirms it or ittsu, even if we think just ittsu that is 3 blocks of just pinzu in their hand (9 outta 13) and they haven't dropped a Pinzu, which is quite suspicious.
So you should view the South as a danger tile

I return with (one of the plausible) answers: Cut the South and just Dama.
What makes this hand interesting is if you clocked the honitsu on the left.
Regardlless 369s wait: full flush (6) + IPK (1) + Pinfu on 3s or 6s (1) = 8 han on tsumo or on pinfu.
Riichi is not required
