Plus many of the NPCs use French words, which will help me with my Pokémon AU as I do have some characters who are from Kalos.

That's one thing I really love about Pokémon is that they use real world places for inspiration of it's locations. Kalos really does have the France feel even though I have never been there before.

To me, this shows that Game Freak does their research on these places.
