What do you need to do?

- You don’t see if trans students use the bathroom.
- You don’t need to report or tattle on trans students.

THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS TO
BE AN ALLY.
An oldie but a goodie. Even IF you hold the mistaken belief that being trans is a sin, Jesus told us to LOVE everyone, even our enemies. So how is bullying trans kids in any way, shape, or form what Jesus told us to do?
Trans kids are being bullied to 💀 by people who claim to be Christian.
If I oppose you it's because
it's the best way i know to love you
+ to love those you are harming.
If i hated you i'd want to destroy, defeat, dehumanize you.
But I don't want any of that for you. Or me.
I want your reformation, your redemption, your restoration into a whole community.
Graffiti art I saw this weekend that says "you 'clean' my art but not the city." The artist drew arrows pointing to a pile of trash on the sidewalk next to their covered over art.
A poignant piece of commentary IMHO.
