I went back and found this while re-reviewing the hand-macro shots I took.

Yes, it is

I remembered after looking at the RAW images again, this was shot with my lens removed from the camera, inverted, and with my finger on the aperture lever, holding it open.

This let me MacGyver a macro lens. I have a glittery plug one I might return to

Also, why don't I buy a macro lens?

I enjoy this shot, but looking back on it, I want to iterate on the idea, for sure.

My favorite thing about models who wish to not have their face shown during a shoot is the excuse to do close ups.

Not to say that I can't otherwise, but you're forced to spend time looking for other shots when the face can't be included compositionally
