Anne Marie Hochhalter was 17 when she was shot on April 20th, 1999, and yesterday, she passed away from complications from a surgery related to her injury during the massacre at her high school.

Last Tuesday evening, I gave myself 3 goals to reach by 9 tonight, knowing I wouldn’t reach any of them, but that my usual mindset of “you didn’t come this far to ONLY come this far” would challenge me to reach them.

Because I haven’t seen anyone else say it: it’s ok to feel conflicted about the current TT situation. It’s ok to hope it doesn’t go away because of the memories, community, etc while still feeling very anxious about what a TT under Trump means.

I remember growing up and being told that stubbornness was a negative trait.

Today, my stubbornness fixed a communication gap between my mechanic and the insurance of the guy who hit me last month, and now I’m getting a new bumper AND $2k of suspension work done for free due to recall.
