At first I wondered if the mask was turned around, so the viewers could see through Doloris' POV, but it's not.
It's as if we're looking *at* her, and what happens in the MV is what happens behind the mask (aka behind the scenes in her head/life)

i do think it’s 🖐️ that if u were to write a fic w the themes of sophie you’d be toeing the line of public opinion at best, and then canon went ahead and did it anyw 😆

i wonder if other things happened to hatsune that she wasn’t ready to reveal to saki… or perhaps she still isn’t consciously aware of…

ig another possible read is like~ hatsune who sees herself as a predator => guilt => “i wouldn’t feel this guilt if i were the victim rather than the perpetrator.” so the emotions of sophie become a positive/escapist fantasy 🥲
