Great shot from the slot for a goal. Good compete level throughout the game. Was hard on the puck and finished his checks. First PP unit. His offensive instinct are obvious. His skating needs to improve.
2023 Draft picks:
-Calum Ritchie, C, OSH (Colorado)
Ended the game with 1a and the only goal in the shootout. Was the motor of his line with Sennecke. Played on the PP and on the PK. Responsable on both and of the ice. Sees the ice well and excellent distributor. Could have ended with more points.
-Henry Mews, D, OTT (Calgary)
Scored the tying goal at the end of the 3rd and ended the game with 7 shots. Supports the attack. His skating fluidity is obvious. Excellent in transition and in distributing the puck in the O-Zone. Defensively was better than last year but not perfect yet.
-Luca Marrelli, D, OSH (Columbus)
Took a step from last offensively and defensively. Good in transition, and great vision and puck distribution in the O-Zone. Was the QB on the 1st PP unit. Ended the game with 4 shots.
-Ben Danford, D, OSH (Toronto)
Like last season, solid defensively and physical in his zone. Good in transition. Mobile. Was used a lot on the PK. Played a simple and effective game.
