yea this is a real annoying one. just wait for the event to come back around and stay for the whole event wait there like 1-2 hours over, all the objects will slowly start to leave

Some sims I've made a short while back.

I actually had quite a lot of trouble from the event, ended up having to create a new save game anytime i wanted to complete the next set of task and that was also with all my mods out
