Okay, so now that Resident Evil marathon is done and Requiem is finished, I've been thinking about what I wanna play next. I'm in the mood for a nice change of pace, perhaps a big open world thing to just get lost in and take at my own pace.

The fact they got Charlie Cox to come in for just a single session as Gustave and he's as good as he is in that game, incredible.

I didn't play it myself because it's not really my type of game but I feel like Highguard had an unfair target on its back before it even released, between the TGAs "one more thing" reveal and the anti-woke grifters circling it. Seems like with time it could have been something.
So excited that MinnMax is doing their Deepest Dive format for this game. Having just finished it myself last night, it’s perfect timing, too!

I just finished Resident Evil Requiem, and oh my god.
I don't say this lightly, but I think this might be my favorite game in the series, and it's firmly earned a spot in my favorite games of all time. Capcom actually fucking did it.
What an absolutely incredible journey.
If Resident Evil Requiem can stick the landing, I think Capcom may have pulled off the best Resident Evil game ever made.
I am loving this game so much, it really is the victory lap this series deserves. Cannot wait to see where this thing goes.

They were "our" band, so to speak, so it took me a long while for me to be able to listen to them without painful memories coming up. This album came out three years removed from that situation, and hearing it for the first time was a sense of closure, so I wrote about that and it was very cathartic

One of my very favorite albums of all time, Hands Like Houses' Dissonants, turned 10 yesterday.
When I used to write about music as a hobby, I wrote about this album and framed it as an open letter to an ex-friend who introduced me to this band but I had a really rough falling-out with.

Resident Evil Requiem is, unsurprisingly, awesome.
It's got that classic RE feel but at the same time doesn't feel like a total retread. I think the new things they've added in have really sprinkled in an element of freshness and unpredictability that's been real scary and damn fun.

After tonight's episode of The Pitt, HBO Max played a little behind-the-scenes thing about keeping continuity and moving the cameras and actors through their ER set, and having to keep track of all of that would break my brain.
Absurdly impressive. This show is so fucking good.

That's Resident Evil Village done, and after a month non-stop, my series replay has been completed!!
This was such a fun ride to go through all these games again, Resident Evil as a series means a lot to me and I'm just over the moon excited to go on a new journey tomorrow with Requiem.
