I agree Alan. Fans have always been treated appallingly by United, I do however recall Sir Matt used to tell players they were playing for people who had worked hard all week just to watch their heroes at 3pm Saturday. Sadly the club leadership don't give a toss about fans now.

This is an extract of a letter I sent to the Chief Executive at United 2 years ago. I got no reply. They just didn't get what it feels like to LOVE United. This was just before Ratcliffe/INEOS. Nothing has changed. Fans are not valued. We're seen as an inconvenience

Been following the progress of 18yr old Shea Lacey since he burst on the scene as a 16 year old in Utd youth teams. I'm liking his current development. He reminds me of the young Lee Sharpe when he first joined Utd from Torquay Utd at 16yrs of age-hope I’ve not jinxed him-watch this space

Wise words Jim. I'm 73 so I remember relegation very well and it was painful I can tell you. I don't know the answer but constantly sacking managers in not the solution. We definitely need to string together some victories to gain confidence starting tomorrow. I say confidence in 99% of the solution

I think John it's because we keep failing when we change managers. I feel if we try giving someone time to build something it's worth trying. We can't just keep sacking managers. If results don't improve by Christmas I think the pressure becomes too much and they will sack him anyway
