If you're a young person, find your people are try stuff. You don't know how it will turn out AND THAT'S A GOOD THING. Failure is a natural part of living. Not something to be scared of. Try shit. Don't sit back and throw stones at others who are trying shit.

If I could offer students one bit ofβ¦advice: be brutally traditional about what is printed on your degree.
If you are first-gen or in any way non traditional, this goes double. Let rich kids get degrees in AI. You get something called βEnglishβ.

Only an administration intent on committing war crimes in the present and future would stoop to calling Wounded Knee a "battle" rather than what it truly was: a massacre of over 250 Lakotas, mainly women, children, and the elderly. 1/

the funny thing about the constant misappropriation of MLK is that the guy left a massive body of writing specifically aimed at explaining his views of those of the movement he represented to the broad public. it is extremely easy to know what the guy thought on a variety of subjects and yet

The level of white ridiculousness is made clear by the fact that they actually created and then violently enforced white only water fountains. Please reflect on how truly bonkers this is.

On the Media's Breaking News Consumer's Handbook:
1. In the immediate aftermath, news outlets will get it wrong.
2. Don't trust anonymous sources.
3. Don't trust stories that cite another news outlet as the source of the information.
4. There's almost never a second shooter.
5. Pay attention to the language the media uses.
β’ βWe are getting reportsββ¦ could mean anything.
β’ βWe are seeking confirmationββ¦ means they donβt have it.
β’ β[News outlet] has learnedββ¦ means it has a scoop or is going out on limb.
6. Look for news outlets close to the incident.
7. Compare multiple sources.
8. Big news brings out the fakers. And photoshoppers.
9. Beware reflexive retweeting. Some of this is on you.
Your friend into media literacy and getting it right (me) is yet again tapping the sign

Firing and demoralizing feminized jobs as enemies of the state while brazenly bribing men with violent jobs that almost instantly puts them into the middle of middle class is very basic gendered warfare. Fulfilling the manosphereβs promise.
