The city of Glendale today proclaimed December “elder wellness and connection month” which sounds good until you see they selected racist, misogynist, transphobic newsletter writer and city council meeting hate speech ranter, Mike Mohill, as the representative of “elders.”

why are TPUSA tables across the country suddenly staffed by 30something year old men who dont even go to college? What was it about K!rk's project that has motivated millenial men to think they can foster an online following by rage baiting Gen-Z college students??

In repeated X posts Emilio Martinez claims to be “starting a club” at GCC yet the chapter denies association with him and denounces his presence. Will Emilio continue pestering students after Thanksgiving break? Folks will surely be watching.

Another update: the GCC TPUSA was forced to issue a statement denouncing Emilio Martinez and his anti-LGBTQ+ speech on campus. The chapter claims Emilio is not affiliated with/the group. Photo evidence suggests otherwise…

Here in Ventura County it’s just creepy Andrews from Godspeak Calvary Chapel in their late 20s at Moorpark College. The college kiddies then amp up the narrative of the day — few sign ups, on social media so even creepier old ladies like Deb Baber and Colby VanVolkinburg Rompal can hit like.

Seems like they’re having trouble getting actual college students motivated to run their youth “movement!” Would love to track how many of these new TPUSA chapters are being pushed political church folks and/or Republican Party operatives— seems like a trend.

No credit to the actual student members of TPUSA who should reconsider their club choice, but it does seem the campus based content-seeking tabling sessions are run almost exclusively by adult men with no official role on campus. Note: they have also been trying the same shtick at UCLA.

Dennis Feitosa is afraid of pride flags

Dennis, a 40 year old man, is extremely worried about whether a college campus is a safe space for middle aged men to shout hate speech at teenagers.

Pride flags placed around the campus made Dennis feel victimized? He and Emilio’s daughter’s outlet 180.shift are now circulating a petition that has 83 whole signatures, apparently demanding GCC protect the rights of middle aged nonstudents to shout bigotry at teenagers.

Update on the local GCC TPUSA chapter: it’s currently being used by middle aged republicans party operatives, 2 of whom have spent most days recently “tabling” (aka trying to make content out of confrontations with mostly teenaged students) and actual students are not happy.

Every little boost helps!

The group has been a hub and recruiting space for local reactionary extremists in Glendale and around the region. Its demise is a victory, but eyes will continue being on its former members and boosters who will likely rebrand and try to hide their record of bigotry and harassment.

Good news! Local reactionary group GUSD Parents Voices appears to have deactivated its Instagram account, which for 4yrs has targeted + harassed local teachers, parents, LGBTQ+ people +allies— often getting national attention via the right wing media ecosystem. X acct still exists but is inactive.

Noting that these strategies have been aggressively deployed against LGBTQ+ people in Glendale for years, including serious false allegations made by the mayor and others during city council meetings. Asatryan is angry they were wielded against her but has been silent about the attacks on others.

We’ve tracked local reactionaries w/ political aspirations (+ failed track records as candidates) using police reports+ specious lawsuits to try to smear women in office, teachers, + LGBTQ+ people. Here councilmember Elen Asatryan addresses the false claims against her + patterns they’re part of.
