I added water!
Usually, devs use shaders to distort the surface. It works, but it often feels thick or gets the scale wrong (like a mosquito on a puddle).
I chose to use animated sprites for the movement instead. It feels less procedural and blends better with the art. Thoughts?

I just had to add vines in my game. I love the feeling of walking through them so much, i could do this all day. It’s a detail i absolutely loved in Animal Well
