Mine is so funny. I went to vacation bible school bc it was great summer childcare, but bc we were Catholic and didn't have them, I was learning Bible stuff every summer via other denominations, and one year I repeated something I'd heard at mass and the counselors laughed at me and I was like !!!!!

re that Talarico post, ime flipping tables is one of the Biblical stories and calls to action that resonates very strongly with a wide variety of religious and non-religious people. Efforts from the left to re-"sanctify" public service, public office, and social services is not a losing proposition.

I understand that there are a lot of folks on the left who instinctively recoil from religious language, and with good reason given its use by the right.

But please listen to this, and focus on how he's trying to realign "Christian values" so they align with and advance progressive policy goals.
