Pray with me for the missing Eli Wood, missing from Kitchener, ON. Foul play is suspected.

Tried a Montanas chicken / veg fajita boil in bag thing picked up from the grocery store. It was good but still too spicey for us. Montanas, if you see this, tone it down. #NotIndian #NotSpanish

the tricky part of dealing with mild #ME/CFS that comes in waves. I planned the Christmas porch decorations on a good day. Put in an order for supplies. Now, too fatigued to care.

Just one step I chose to take on my own. And I try to sleep on my side which the sleep lab doctor recommended, which now is resulting in hip pain! LOL Can't win.

Yes, sleep disorder is part of #ME/CFS. I am sleeping on a wedge now that raises my upper body. It is tricky at times as I slide down. Anyhow, for the most part, I find it comfortable but no clue if it helps my breathing or not. . .

The doctor at the time was alluding to his belly fat.

definitely, high carb meals can spike insulin and cause fatigue, for one thing.

what type of archeology do you do? My son (31) does this work but just for North American Ontario consultation company. Wondering what he'll do next as layed off every winter.

Wow, that is interesting and very creepy sounding assuming by CFS you mean cerebral something or other. I have had head pain for several weeks now and an MRI is planned. Hope they are able to help you. Do you have #CFS as in chronic Fatigue Syndrome too or not?

My doctor would not prescribe that for me. People can jump to conclusions about many things. It's reflection of them. One dr told my husband to quit drinking so much beer and eating ceasar salad dressing. He was doing neither. Very shallow!

Love this idea (not reading as too tired). I do art as well.

Brought everything indoors to untangle. Sat 45 min. trying to untangle the lights. This was to be a 10 min low energy project. Did not get them untangled and put up, and quit. Now need a nap! Wore me out--the activity plus the mental work focusing on them did me in. I did try to make it meditative.😜

Today's #CFS challenge. Put on Christmas music. Threw a couple more gifts into the nifty bags I bought for wrapping, then decided I would put porch railing lights up. Grabbed them and the red tinsel I bought and, dang, didn't they tangle together! ...

Same. I did at home study because my circadian rhythm is reversed and would not fit into lab ours, but I feel I was awake half the night and it was recording me fake sleeping 😅. Insurance doesn't cover CPAP for mild cases. Was not going to spend $3,000 for equipment I'd probably hate.

So very very true. Was prepared to say not my first rodeo. (or whatever the saying is 🤪). They want to be the hero of our life.

This morning
• Being woken up earlier than your natural rhythm
• Mental effort (scrolling, planning, wrapping gifts)
• Physical effort getting the steak and potatoes going

For someone pacing around CFS/PEM patterns, this is cumulative exertion.

Frosty day today in Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada. Beautiful snow-tipped trees.

How many here with #ME/CFS took a sleep study or feel they should, or were told by their doctor they should?

But I get what you mean. I usually awake groggy. And stay that way for 2 hrs. My energy window is usually set for an afternoon. I sometimes even have to cancel appts. due to starting at zero. Have to decide the day before if possible so I'm not billed.

I could have opened parcels that were delivered. I could have put up the outdoor Christmas lights. I could have done any other number of things and I told myself no. I try to limit showers to every few days or when going to appt. & choose a main activity a day for 2 hrs max (example gift wrap).

Yes. Marry someone with a well-paying job (lol), it helps. I'm retired now so I can talk. Here is my example of knowing my limits. I made an osteopath appt. for leg pain, then my daughter asked me to babysit our new grandson. I thought "oo oo". So I did not do anything else besides those 2 things.

applause! I felt like that yesterday after doing a real grocery shop.

10.12.2025 03:58 — 👍 1    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

my energy wisely. Period! Where I failed was bringing up my fatigue. I was there for leg pain, not anything else.

#ME/CFS I told him I did not want to talk about diet. He went on probing and I schooled him on what I know about my need for protein and the types I use. Why does everyone want to fix our fatigue!!! I told him I don't care if there is a label or not, the result is the same, I need to manage

10.12.2025 03:57 — 👍 2    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

usually means I'm on that side a lot more than another person might be. He said on top of 8 hrs sleep? I said sometimes on top of 9-10 hrs. Anyhow, his next question was "how's your diet"....in other words, it's not #CFS, let's fix your fatigue. Lord help me!

Walked into this one. A few ppl suggested I see an osteopath for my new leg pain. I told him it only hurts when I'm in bed sleeping on that side --usually 20 min into my routine. Then I added I believe I have #CFS, though the doctor won't label it but I usually require extra naps which #ME/CFS
