Imposter syndrome is hitting SO hard this morning

I’ll never regret leaving high school early, it was the best decision I ever made for my mental health, and community college had the same issues so I don’t regret giving up on that, either, but I’m so scared of being seen as inferior because of my lack of formal education

Five hours into my road trip and we’ve reached the point of the trip where I switch from my regular rotation to my singalong playlist to take advantage of my voice being thoroughly warmed up for once lol

Sometimes I feel guilty for not reading many books on racehorse breeding until this year, but I think it was the right choice to develop my own theories first because it’s done a lot for my confidence to read opinions I developed independently reflected by generations of breeders

I’ve been reading a lot lately, in the hopes that perhaps that will encourage all the writing that’s bubbling inside of me to spill out. But the stories always seem so much more beautiful before I try to give them form. Once they’re on a page, they become a part of myself to pick apart and critique.
