Today I’ll mostly be listening to… Wil Malone’s self titled album which originally was released in 1970, this is 2025. Wil went on to become an arranger for everyone from the Who to Black Sabbath to the Verve and conducted on Adele’s first single.

Single speed flip flop hub (extra hipster points) leather wrapped cow horn bars (more hipster points) leather finished saddle (faux possibly) plus British racing green (nearly) paintwork and to finish it all off some what tacky/tasteless white wheel rims
10” album cover leaning on old cameras next to a Linn Sondek LP12 turntable with 10” clear vinyl (66 of 80) playing on turntable
Today I’ll mostly be listening to Andrew Wasylyk - Themes For Buildings And Spaces, I bought this 10” LP having attended Andrews gig last night at the hottest sweatiest venue I’ve ever been to, Leith FAB Cricket Club. Both him and his band were excellent #vinyl #vinylisreal

Gatefold sleeve opened up to show pop up colourful moth framed by metallic copper line work (very cool). I’m assuming it’s a moth cos the second verse of the first track has the line “like a moth to a flame”
Today I’ll mostly be listening to… the fifth studio album by When Rivers Meet. Excellent British Blues/Rock big sound and I luv the album artwork 🦋

Front of Gatefold album cover visible of Hot Rats sitting to left of turntable playing the record
Today I’ll mostly be listening to… Frank Zappa’s second solo album Hot Rats, released in 69 but this is the 2016 reissue mastered by Bernie Grundman. Frank’s best album? Could be, but there are so many versions of Frank can anyone say what is “best”. "A movie for your ears".

Graph showing heart rate for the majority of the ride was well above 155 bpm
Yesterday for the second time I had a 5k cycle on my partner’s electric Brompton. Woke up early due to discomfort in my heart area. I felt fine when I was cycling plus most of it was downhill. So was completely unaware of exceeding 155bpm which should be my max. No bike for now 🙁 Off to talk to Doc…

I haven’t used them yet so can’t vouch for their quality as I’m processing my own B+W and haven’t had the urge to do colour in a long while.
This weekend I’m visiting Whitby, I have a Leica iiif and 2 rolls of HP5 and 1 roll of FP4.
Just got to dig out my Durst enlarger and cobble a darkroom together. Luckily I retire soon 🤪
A roll of 36 exposure film is approaching £10
Process scan 19mb tiff and print 6x4 is also £10

Edgar also did a duck walk across the stage with a red Gibson ES335 about halfway through.
