They are fantastic motors. You can see the VW van mirrors etc... It made a fantastic noise tonking along on bar grips. I checked and my old rust heap is still taxed until next April.

Great fun. I had one for a few years. Although VW badged it is an Audi - the prototype of the Quattro. Mine was a mutilated pig, but I bought it and loved it. It was a leftover from the Bundeswehr tank base at Castlemartin in Wales.

Next up on the model building schedule are this pair. It will be a good test. I may not start immediately due to my hectic/knackering labouring job at my daughter's house rebuild. Anyone done these kits? #histscalemodels

Well worth the effort. I started c25k in January to get my fitness back after illness. So far so good. I usually do 2 or 3 5k runs per week. Am nowhere near quick but I do enjoy the sense of achievement if not all the running experiences....

The hatch on the rear is the only way in for the crew of two, hence the mud and weathering.

Calling the Type 283 Kubel tank training vehicle from Meng done. It's a cute little beast and a really nice build. I thinned down the tabs on the turret ring so it can move. The minuses on the kit are the wipers and the decals. I could make new wipers, but prefer the kit as seen. #histscalemodels
