Ironic: in order to gain national power to do the bidding of global capital, politicians stir up hatred of "foreigners"

Until someone works out how to get monopoly profits from renewables they are constantly going to be attacked by frightened oligarchs.

NHS doesn't keep these statistics. We have a Govt Stats Office called ONS that does this work.

The National Statistics Socio-economic classification (NS-SEC) - Office for National Statistics The NS-SEC has been constructed to measure the employment relations and conditions of occupations. It has been rebased on SOC2010.

ONS classify everyone into a social class scheme that measures employment relations & conditions for everyones occupation. It is possible to analyse Covud mortality according to this measure but for some reason has not been done.

Fascinating to contrast earlier news bulletins spending many minutes slagging govt for the delay to the Muscat evacuation flight, then later bulletins having to admit it was nothing to do with govt at all.

Fair point but I wasnt thinking only about mining. Massive job losses from steel, ship building, motor manufacture.

Renewable energy producers have lower marginal costs than fossil fuels meaning they drive down clearing prices. As we get more renewables online, overall energy prices will fall. Utilities should not be allowed to own generation and distribution because they will fight renewable deployment.

One does wonder if the Brexit campaign was always just a 1st step towards White Nationalism. For sure many Brexiteers thought so.
