I guess they figure that racism got a convicted criminal the Presidency of the US , so it must be a powerful message.

Maybe it's time to step back from terms like "socialist", "capitalist" (a breed that went extinct in 2008 anyway). Rather, have debates to work through the consequences of specific policies for both economy & population.

Good point. I get some people who think my opposition to racism is "middle class." All I can say is tell that to those who opposed the Holocaust, which was tolerated & even promoted by racists of all social classes. And there was no excuse for any of them.
