Ken was exuberant in describing the political support it took for saving public lands for future generations and that built the Park Service as caretakers. I couldn’t watch it; all will soon be lost.

Sheldon and I took a 60 mile golden hour ride on the Nautilus this afternoon; temps in the mid-50°s with clear blue skies. The navigation update we made earlier in the day worked. We traveled the twisties on the Horseshoe Neck/Boones Cave/Goat Pasture Road loop in Davidson County. #nautiluspilot

165 miles on the Nautilus today; 66° in the flat lands, and 52° at the Eastern Continental Divide above Roaring Gap. Sheldon and I made a stop in Elkin and at the overlook in Roaring Gap, and of course a photo op at the Muddy Creek Cafe in Sparta. A gorgeous, sunny day for a ride. #nautiluspilot
