SFE: Evans, Richard Welcome to the fourth edition of The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction.

I understand that his involvement consisted only of the use of his name. The actual editor, a friend who asked me to contribute and slipped in a story of his own, was the late Richard Evans. See sf-encyclopedia.com/entry/evans_...

Cover art for Both Sides of the Case (1958) by Julian Prescot

Random hardback cover of the day, from 1958. The "Julian Prescot" (John Budd) books were a solicitor version of Henry Cecil's insider novels about barristers and judges, and went on until 1967. All published by Arthur Barker. Most of my copies are signed "J.P." for a particular friend of the author.
