I don’t think CB is in play at 7. They knew they were losing Reed, didn’t want to pay him with Sauce and MC2 under contract.

They’ll probably go cheap at CB2 with the young guys on the roster and maybe a vet.

My head canon is that Lance Newmark told the #Jets he wanted to give Kinlaw that contract in his meeting and that’s why he didn’t get the GM job

Patriots dropping a TON of money on their defense in free agency.

I’m very content with the #Jets sitting this one out. Some of these contracts are getting wild.

Have a feeling these deals won’t age well.

Adam Schefter just reported on ESPN the #Commanders have signed Javon Kinlaw to a 3-year, $45M contract.

I refuse to believe that number is correct. Insane deal for the former #Jets DT if true.

It’s a 1-year, $14M contract with $12M guaranteed, per Schefter.

Guess we’re doing #Jets analysis over here. Surprisingly good deal for Reddick after last year’s debacle.

Will McDonald ranks among all EDGE in 2024:

• Sacks: 3rd (10)
• Pressures: 11th (45)
• Pass Rush Productivity: 5th (10.4)

Only players with a higher PRP are Aidan Hutchinson, Myles Garrett, Trey Hendrickson, and Micah Parsons.

Excellent company for the #Jets edge rusher.

Joe Tippmann is PFF’s 6th highest-graded center among qualifiers in 2024.

76.1 run block grade is 6th best while he’s allowed just 13 pressures and 1 total penalty this season.

Breakout season for the 2023 #Jets second-round pick. Bordering on a top-5 center this year.

The #Jets OL has allowed the 4th-fewest hurries but the 7th-most QB hits.

A direct indication that the sack and QB hit numbers are inflated by an immobile QB.

Of course, said QB also has the quickest average Time To Throw among qualifiers.

Mixed bag, but the OL has been mostly good this year.

67.3 for Thomas this week, his 2nd highest of the season haha!

Yeah definitely an encouraging first start at LT for Fashanu. Hoping he continues to hold his own through the rest of the year.

Would be huge for the state of the OL going into the offseason.

Listen it’s called a championship hangover….but you wouldn’t know anything about that 🫢

Phil Miller finished with 0 total QB points in his fantasy loss this week.

The loss plummets him to 2-9 on the year and the underlying metrics are even worse.

Phil’s team ranks 2nd worst in total points for and has failed to score 110 in over half its games.

Rumors are Justin Jefferson wants out.

All-Pro Quinnen Williams is back.

Williams finished with 7 (!) run stops in Week 11, 3 more than any other iDL in the NFL.

Williams also registered a team-high 4 pressures, 2 QB hits, and a sack.

Huge reason the #Jets were able to contain Jonathan Taylor.

Quinnen is dominating again.

Olu Fashanu in his LT debut in Week 11:

• 64.3 PFF grade
• 68.0 run-block grade
• 69.9 pass-block grade
• 3 pressures
• 1 sack
• 1 penalty
• 52 snaps

Grade took a slight hit because of a very questionable holding penalty.

Encouraging game for the #Jets rookie.
