Ellie decided to sample tonight's Hatch chile ladden queso and wasn't too sure about the "bitey cheese." This is an old photo of her classic stink eye, which I received when the green chile but back. I was too busy laughing to get her reaction tonight.

When one reaches adulthood one can do things like eat a vat of queso and chips for dinner. When one reaches middle age, one should hopefully have learned to eat several servings of veggies alongside.

"The last time I read through the Bible, I did see many different examples of sins listed, but never did I ever see "empathy" cited as a sin. I guess some dumbass doesn't know the difference between empathy and envy which IS clearly defined (Gal 5:19-21, Prov 14:30). You know what else is clearly defined? Idolatry (Gal 5:19-21, Col 3:5). And the last time I checked the New Testament contains what are to be believed as the words of Jesus, that guy Christianity is based on, and says we need to be heeding HIS words. And he says a bit on envy, idolatry, hatred, greed, uncleanness, and the like. Not a word about homosexuality either. There was something else about loving the sinners anyway. Ngl that's handy for me since I'm technically a sinner in the eyes of Jesus. My biggest "sins" are that I don't believe in his divinity or his father. I do like the bits he said regarding kindness, forgiveness, and generosity. Where I get lost is the blatant hypocrisy I'm seeing from people who claim to be Christian and behave in ways most un Christ-like."

Been dodging fluid in my lungs for almost a week. Feeling better enough to do the actual finishing on this Mill Hill ornament. It's MH18-2225 Spooky Cage for anyone interested. I used 2 strands each of the black, yellow, and darkest orange floss to make the twisted cord hanger.
