A minimum of 3 in my opinion.
I do feel there are hidden yield limitations through root diseases that we aren’t picking up in a close rotation. 🤔

As I inspect more paddocks for summer weeds, the Lentil stubbles are painting a picture of some key take home messages:
1) closer rotations = a LOT more weeds
2) it DOES matter what you use for crop-topping; and
3) DFF plays an important role in thistle control
