Funnily enough, I think all of the stuff I've talked about here has some kind of connection. Art, the creative process, the passion and the "you" that goes into it, themes of rebellion against fascism

What I'm trying to say is that Remedy should put Dr. Wily in Alan Wake 3

more time with the characters and in the world. But, y'know. Indie game. Only so much time and money

The actual rhythm game segments are fine but I hate how erratic it can get: visuals for what's coming next can get cluttered and sometimes cutscenes would just spring you into a song with no warning

I really liked this game at MAGFest, and the team delivered. Like that finale is absolutely a mile a minute and really satisfying. Also Beat's self-deprecation and hatred of things she's made hit a little hard with me

At the same time, I feel like the pacing is just a teensy bit erratic; I wanted--

UNBEATABLE

I gotta be honest, I don't think I "felt" this game the same way a lot of people were. I have my hangups with it when it comes to gameplay, and the story didn't make me break down in tears like other people did, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I get it and that I didn't have a good time

I've been getting recommended a lot of MH videos, because the people making videos for Stories are MH youtubers go figure, so now I'm getting shit like this. "The most misunderstood Monster Hunter" and we're talking about, say it with me folks, the #2 best selling Capcom game of all time.

Cosmic Princess Kaguya

I'm a big fan of Kaguya-hime's tale, and this was a particularly fun retelling of it. Not one of the most complex stories out there, but it's a cute story about being a creator with no experience and doing whatever you can to make the impossible possible. Also, there's yuri!!

I did the Lake House DLC and one episode of Night Springs. Instead of playing this 20-25 hour game again I'm just gonna watch the Final Draft on YouTube. 120 GBs restored!

If I had any criticisms it's mostly I'm shit at ammo conservation in horror games and the FMV cutscenes are kinda weird on PC

After marathoning the Remedyverse last year, all I can ask is "why didn't I do this sooner?" A fantastic game that does meta story beats very well, balancing tension and hype perfectly. When the game industry blurs the line between itself and movies/TV, AW2 is what it should look like.
