This is probably the most excited I’ve been for an NBA finals on a pure basketball basis in recent memory. Yes I hate the Zombie Sonics, but I still love to watch great basketball.

Matchups always matter in the NBA, but especially in the playoffs so as you point out it could be that. All season the wolves have rode the roller coaster of inconsistency until Randle came back from injury and still then had blip here and there but many justified the weak schedule. So 🤷 it is.

But this was also lineup with the worst efficiency all season long for the Wolves. Diabolical.
