Life has a way to throw a wrench in things. I’m now raising our 9 year old niece. And every day I’m like, am I raising a child correctly? And then I see Elon and I immediately feel better about myself.

Given the current circumstances, I am no longer confident that 23andMe can adequately protect my data. As a California resident, I am exercising my rights under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and formally request the complete deletion of all my data. Please confirm the deletion process and provide confirmation once completed.

With 23andMe going bankrupt, I went ahead and requested my data to be deleted. If you are a Californian resident, feel free and copy what I wrote as to the reason why you want your data deleted.

Charge info at El Centro while we had a snack at Taco Bell and Starbucks for the road.

Reached our last stop, hopefully, at El Centro, CA. Was able to get the only spot that was a pull in, so didn’t have to unhook the trailer.

Charging info at Yuma, AZ.

Tesla navigation forced us to stop at Yuma, AZ. This is pretty much the last stop before El Centro, CA. I had to unhook the trailer again. Second time around it was quicker.

Charging stats at Dateland, AZ.

McDonald’s for myself and the kid. Amber got Taco Bell.

After grabbing food, quickly drove to Dateland, AZ since they have a charger if you have a trailer.

First charging stop, Gila Bend, AZ. Arrived with 16% on the battery. Gonna grab lunch while we charge. Unhooking the trailer was rough and annoying as it was heavy.

Last week when I did this trip, it took about 6.5 hours, starting the trip at 46% and stopping at 3 superchargers. Today I’ll be starting with 61% and will be driving 55 mph on the interstate.

When I got my Model Y two years ago, I imagined using my hitch to transport bikes. I never thought the first time I used it was to transport things from Phoenix to San Diego.
