Let's be clear: no one should be taking medical advice from the man who told Americans to inject bleach.

To moms worried about the Tylenol they took while pregnant: you deserve better than being RFK Jr's scapegoat.

And to the autism community: you are loved exactly as you are.

Let’s be clear about what happened to Jimmy Kimmel Trump’s most brazen attack on free speech yet.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

Today's jobs report shows 24,000 factory jobs lost in the past three months.

Digital flyer for a virtual event titled β€œCalling Swing Districts – Save Scientific Research Funding.” The event is scheduled for Thursday, July 17th at 3:00 PM PT and will be held online. The flyer invites people to help call South Asian voters in Republican-held swing districts to encourage them to contact their representatives about proposed cuts to scientific research funding. It states that the Trump administration plans to cut 38% from the NIH and 55% from the NSF and has already withheld $3.8 billion in NIH funding. The event will also include calls to moderate Republican Senators to oppose cuts to NPR and PBS. At the bottom is a QR code and the logo for Stand Up for Science, along with a note that the RSVP link is available at Standupforscience.net. As a scientist who studied animal behavior, this is extremely alarming. There is no way to test behavior/cognition in an organoid. If you could, that organoid would be conscious & deserving of protections as well.

Either neuroscience should be forbidden forever or these sacrifices are necessary.

Please comment on this! The complexity of living systems cannot be fully recapitulated by in vitro or computational approaches alone. While advances in non-animal model technologies offer complementary tools, they lack the full physiological and developmental context of a living organism.
