Welcome & thanks to our latest graduating class of GCCFN Ambassadors!  These dedicated folks completed our month-long training program to help us reach more survivors, provide information in their own networks, and advocate for survivors of violence. Help us congratulate them!💜

Local victims received medical care through our Family Justice Center Forensic Medical Clinic and case management through our Human Trafficking program. GCCFN has been able to significantly expand our services for victims through the MS Human Trafficking Fund provide by the MS AG's Office. 2/🧵

Recently, our staff met with MS Attorney General Lynn Fitch in preparation for Operation Guardian Force, a statewide sting operation to identify victims of trafficking. We're honored to have been a part of this effort which resulted in 72 arrests & the recovery of 29 victims. 1/🧵

Wencie regularly facilitates sessions for our clients focused on positive body image & confidence building. She's also played an active role in supporting special events like the preschool Christmas parties, Volunteer Community Luncheon & the Rock the Cause 5K. Thanks, Wencie! 💜

Cooper Cross is an amazing young man whose Eagle Scout project is helping with preparations for our Family Justice Center.  But he helps us in many ways - and just today, he and his mom stopped by to deliver donations he's been collecting for our clients! We're so proud and grateful for the help!

The wonderful folks at Northwood Church were selected for the Volunteer Service Award this year but unfortunately weren't able to be present for the ceremony.  We were honored to catch up with them this week and have our CAO Sarah Jones finally present them with their award!  Thanks so much!
