Whenever Black Sun discourse happens on tokutwt, everyone suffers

Tbh I don't really like the Shonen warriors from Black either. They were at least more conceptually interesting than Rider's child laborers in 71, V3 and Super-1, but I didn't enjoy their time in the story and their inclusion does not at all fit the tone of Black's final stretch.

I think the only time modern KR ever brought this concept back is for Black Sun(?), albeit in the sloppiest way possible. Maybe Hibiki too if you count Asumu and his friends

Thoughts on the current state of tokusatsu as a medium? I know some people are saying toku production is in decline as young viewers are favoring anime and internet shorts, and companies would much rather invest in those. They cite Sentai's recent hiatus as a sign of this decline. Any comments?
