Senator Schumer should step aside as leader. Every Democrat in the Senate should call for him to do so, and begin making plans for new leadership immediately. We will be encouraging our groups and activists to talk to their senators at town halls, community events, and office visits…

This was not a close vote. 91% of group leaders voted for national to make this all. 7% said probably, but they needed more time. 2% opposed.

We are a locally led movement. When local leaders speak, we listen. We encouage Demorats to rally around someone who can lead the opposition forward.
