Trump Calls Putin ‘Crazy’—And the Kremlin Shrugs The Russians continue their bombing while snarking that the American president is too emotional.

The Russians have made clear that they plan to kill their way out of the Ukraine war. Donald Trump’s response was to send a mean social-media post, Tom Nichols writes in The Atlantic Daily.

@kairyssdal.bsky.social @marketplace reporters need to stop referring to “liberation day” unless it is clarified as “Trump’s name for the day that he increased tariffs.” Otherwise you look like state media.

It's remarkable how much of this administration's agenda has been laser focused on simply making life worse for ordinary Americans.

It’s still hard for me to believe that after so many years of deranged posts like this, we’ve still never had a serious national conversation about this man’s mental health.

We know exactly why House Republicans will meet in the dead of night on Wednesday to prepare Trump’s budget for the floor—because they’re cowards who want to hide away while they gut health care and food assistance.

They think we won’t notice. They better think again.

Van Hollen: "Trump's visit to the Middle East- my view is the narrative here was selling out US national interests for the private gain of his business. He essentially gave away the crown jewels of US AI and semiconductor tech to the gulf in exchange for a $2b investment in his stablecoin venture"

This should be bigger news:

ICYMI - Project 2025’s puppet master Russell Vought just replaced Elon as head of DOGE.

People still in denial & believe Trump knew nothing about Project 2025, need to explain why he just handed the keys to the whole damn thing to its architect. He is the plan. Wake up.

Public Broadcasting Act of 1967 Download the Public Broadcasting Act of 1967, as amended, in PDF format. Subpart D — Corporation for Public Broadcasting Sec. 396. [47 U.S.C.

The law specifies that the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is a private entity, not a federal agency, to afford it "maximum protection from extraneous interference and control" — in other words, to avoid a situation like this. You can read it for yourself here. It's pretty clear.

Trump's firing spree has hit the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the entity that disperses federal funds to public TV and radio stations across the country. There's only one problem: Under the 1967 law that created the private corporation, Trump does not have the authority to fire them.

Rep Eric Swalwell walked out in *shock*—and who could blame him?

Every single GOP member on the House Judiciary Committee just voted to let Trump “deport” American citizens.

This is illegal, authoritarian, and unforgivable 🤬

Time to call, write, & protest before the full House votes.

Senate GOP leaders succeed in protecting Trump tariffs It comes the same day the Commerce Department reported that the U.S. economy contracted by 0.3% in the first quarter — the first contraction in three years.

(AXIOS) - The Senate on Wednesday killed a resolution that would have effectively reversed President Trump's 10% tariffs on all imported goods, with just three Republicans joining with Democrats in support of the measure.

Trump may soon offer a motherhood medal, an idea popularized in Nazi Germany He wants to be known as the 'fertilization president.'

In a move to change cultural attitudes about childbearing, the Trump administration may soon start bestowing mothers of six or more children a special medal.

Here's a not-so-fun fact: This idea was popularized in Nazi Germany.
