Lyn is dressed in her ZA outfit looking very slay with one hand on her hip as she looks off to the side as she talks. Cool girl. To the right of that is Lyna and Aristea. Lyna has her hand raised up in a sort of "Place Here" gesture, and Aristea is bending down/leaning over slightly to put his chin in her raised hand. Lyna looks pretty displeased about the situation. Aristea meanwhile looks incredibly happy and unbothered.

Tumblr also *used to be* very good for art galleries actually. Until they uh. Completely broke the tagging system and kept flagging accounts and deleting them randomly and not reinstating them.

We do need better sites for just art. I've been sort of in and out of xfolio and it seems interesting but yeah, it's hard with how effortlessly scrolling is VS engaging with a piece in a standalone art gallery page

obviously fighting the "content creator" (🤢) feeling as an artist to remain "relevant" is hard. My pov is more of like... I do art For Me over anyone or anything else. But I also dont rely on art as a job, so ymmv i guess

i feel mixed on lrp bcs i do draw Every Day, but Every Single Year without fail I see artists burning out hard on artfight/other monthly events. i think people dont work within their artistic comfortability zones. or something? words.
Though if I dont draw every day i Will explode emotionally LOL

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
