Below is an excerpt from the late, great Vicky Nealeβs book βClosing the Gapβ.
Two sides of the pencil π show numbers that are 2 mod 3. Prime numbers are shown in red.
Does anyone know where we can buy this pencil? π
Does anyone please have a list of the proofs that students need to learn for Pearson EdExcel A-Level maths? π

Those of you who teach the topic of circular motion in A level Further Maths Mechanics, do you use the term 'centripetal force'? It doesn't seem to be mentioned in the specifications I've looked at, though it is in A level Physics specifications. #ALevelMaths

This year, I read my first graphic biography (Muybridge by Guy Delisle) and absolutely loved it.
Maybe the right author can take us on a journey where each image delivers a clear, bite-sized idea, without the message getting lost in noise?
Not unlike a good maths teacher, really.
The @howiehua.bsky.social grid method for calculating the Frobenius number for a pair of coprime positive integers is here:

Using the @howiehua.bsky.social grid method to calculate the Frobenius number of 3 and 5. The interactive number grid is from @transum.bsky.social https://www.transum.org/maths/activity/number/grid/
This is a maths π Please send help!
In the grid, we can see exactly one multiple of 5 in each column.
If I generalise the grid method for a coprime positive integer pair a and b with a<b we will have a columns and b rows. How do I prove that there is only one multiple of b in each column?
π€ Hmmm, a six seven problem? I see what you did there.
Two solutions using the @transum.bsky.social Interactive Number Grid.
The answer is 27
With thanks to @howiehua.bsky.social for sharing this method and @transum.bsky.social for the interactive Number Grid.
